Fire Elemental

Elemental brings a range of devastating spells along with a versatile collection of interrupts, crowd controls and totems.

These are best enhanced and utilised through the Elemental Shamans Talent tree, which also unlocks some Specc specific abilities.

The Elemental Shamans Primary role is as a damage dealer, but like all hybrid classes they offer a greater level of versatility than your standard dps.

Totems:

The Elemental Spellbook cover all three of the mass Totem Cast Abilities. Allowing a Shaman to pre-set their Totems using the in-game Totem Bar.

This is the Shamans aoe slowing effect totem. Lasting 45sec and covering a 10yard area. Wit ha 15sec cooldown – note cooldown starts once the totem has despawned meaning you can use this totem once every minute.

Summons the one of the Shamans Elementals. The Fire Elementals prime role is as dps. Utilising melee, single target fireballs and aoe fire nova. This is a great addition for boss fights or trash that get out of hand.

This is the Shamans Primary aoe Totem. Lasting 20sec and covering a 8yard range, dealing damage every 2sec. This totem can also utilise the Fire Nova skill.

This totem has become one of the main Elemental specc totems of choice. Lasting 1min and casting a fireball at an enemy within 35yards. Usually this totem will target the nearest enemy though will attack targets effected by your Flame Shock or Stormstrike as preference.

Stoneclaw last 15sec and taunts all targets within 8yards, having a 50% chance to stun any target that hits it. while active this totem shields all of the shamans other totems and absorbs around 4k of damage.

Crowd Control:

Binds targeted Elemental for up to 50sec. Preventing it form casting, attacking or moving. This spell can only affect one target at a time and will break upon taking damage. This spell has no Cooldown.

Turns targeted humanoid or beast into a frog for up to 1min. While Hex’s target can move but can not cast or attack. Damage will break Hex though Dot’s wont break it instantly.

Effects:

Removes two beneficial buff’s from your target. highly situational and in many PvE encounters completely useless. While being a great tool in PvP, it can be easily spam’d due to no cast time or cooldown.

Allows the caster to cast while on the move for up to 10sec. This spell has great potential if used correctly, though with a 2min cooldown this spell becomes a on the moment cast but can be activated while already casting another spell.

The shamans only interrupt, allowing them to interrupt and prevent the casting of any spell for 2sec as well as reducing your threat levels in the target. Wind shear is tied to the shamans shock cooldown time though counts as an independent spell class so can still be cast even if your earth, flame or frost shocks are on cooldown.
